Move it to the freezer by Wednesday
Say you bring home bell peppers on a Saturday. For peppers, FoodKeeper lists 4 to 14 days in the fridge (from purchase), so move them to the freezer by Wednesday, the early end of that range. They keep for 6 to 8 months there (from purchase). The Pantry shows how long each food has, and a Use first card offers Freeze (Pantry dates in Help).
